Our new website for Yorkshire’s flagship art project for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad, being directed by The Quay Brothers and produced by Leeds Canvas and the Arts Council.We launched our new website for OverWorldsandUnderWorlds to coincide with Leeds Canvas organising a tour for for journalists and the unsuspecting few, through the gaols and rooftoop of Leeds City Hall…

We’re a big fan of our photographer pal Chris Nunn’s work and so we were delighted when he approached us to develop his branding, stationery and website. Mark has worked with Chris on a number of projects over the years and it was great to finally launch his new site a few weeks ago. Chris is behind the fantastic range of breakfast shots currently used on our own holding page.

We are excited to launch our new website for Dep Arts Ltd, a Leeds-based dance production company which represents over twenty national and international  artists across the UK, Europe and worldwide.

We were  approached to help  re-align their brand and current marketing materials to better reflect the growing stature and reach of their work.

They were keen to create an iconic symbol/ logo mark that could be quickly recognised and stand out within
its industry.

Working with Spinning Top Films we finally persuaded David from Dep Arts to sit in front of the camera and tell Dep’s story. Also showing rehearsals from the Balbir Singh Dance Company. Thanks Colin for the great work!

Creating the new plaftorm for Leeds Canvas

Leeds Canvas combines: Opera North; The Northern Ballet; West Yorkshire Playhouse; Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds Met Art Gallery; Phoenix Dance and Leeds City Council to commission a major work of art every four years, the first to be led by the acclaimed film-makers The Quay Brothers.

We are extremely excited to have been appointed brand and digital partners for both Leeds Canvas and the forthcoming arts event OverWorlds&UnderWorlds.

OverWorlds&UnderWorlds is part of Artists Taking the Lead, one of the national projects of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

The acclaimed film-makers the Quay Brothers have been commissioned to lead this project, working with the idea of translating the world of their films and set designs into Leeds itself using the Dark Arches as their canvas.

The project which will take place in a series of happenings and interventions that will lead up to the main event in May 2012.
