Creating the new plaftorm for Leeds Canvas
Leeds Canvas combines: Opera North; The Northern Ballet; West Yorkshire Playhouse; Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds Met Art Gallery; Phoenix Dance and Leeds City Council to commission a major work of art every four years, the first to be led by the acclaimed film-makers The Quay Brothers.
We are extremely excited to have been appointed brand and digital partners for both Leeds Canvas and the forthcoming arts event OverWorlds&UnderWorlds.
OverWorlds&UnderWorlds is part of Artists Taking the Lead, one of the national projects of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
The acclaimed film-makers the Quay Brothers have been commissioned to lead this project, working with the idea of translating the world of their films and set designs into Leeds itself using the Dark Arches as their canvas.
The project which will take place in a series of happenings and interventions that will lead up to the main event in May 2012.
